Conference: “AIR TRITIA – clean air in the heart of Europe“

Polluted air is one of the greatest challenges faced by the representatives of various regions in Europe. The harmful substances suspended in air are the cause of a number of negative effects on human health, at the same time generating rising social and economic costs. As country borders are no borders for polluted air, it is necessary to develop instruments, strategies, and procedures aiming to reduce the pollution on an international scale.

On 24.01.2020, the fourth music and therapy workshop was held as part of the Visegrad cooperation for working with seniors project.

As part of the "Visegrad Cooperation for Work with Seniors" project, EGTC TRITIA together with partner Social Welfare Centers, Nurses Homes and Social Service Centers from Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic organized carol music workshops. Especially for this occasion, the Songbook of Christmas carols and pastorals of the Polish-Czech-Slovak border was developed.

Workshops for seniors

On Friday, August 6, at the Senior Home run by the Elizabethan Sisters, the first workshop for seniors took place. A series of workshops, which is financed under the International Visegrad Fund, began in Jabłonków, next workshops will take place in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia!

Newsletter Air Tritia

The most demanding part of the modelling regarding the computing power is the calculation of pollution from domestic boilers from the Polish part of the TRITIA region. These results together with results of pollution modelling from domestic boilers at the Czech and Slovak part of the region, from industrial sources and car traffic will be the basis for further analysis of the air quality, health risks and remedies.

Conference summarizing the 3D Heritage project

The European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TRITIA with together with the University of Žilina in Žilina organized a conference summarizing the project: "3D digitization of historical objects of the cross-border area SK-PL".

Maps of winter attractions of the Polish-Czech-Slovak borderland

In May 2018, the CROSS - BORDER SKI project was completed. As part of the EGCT TRITIA project, it has developed maps of winter attractions of the Polish-Czech-Slovak border region. These maps are available on our website.

Cohesion policy 2020+

On 14/06/2018 Bratislava took place a working group meeting for the new programming period 2021 - 2027. The meeting was opened by Deputy Prime Minister for Information Technology and Investments of the Slovak Republic, Richard Raši, whose department oversees the activities in this area. Marta Sláviková, Director of the EGTC TRITIA, is a member of this committee.

A memorandum on cooperation within the European Coal Platform was signed

A 24th meeting of entrepreneurs from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia took place in Ostrava, with the participation of representatives of: ministries, embassies, representatives of regions and companies. The working part was focused on the development of industry while limiting coal extraction, its use and problems on the labor market in the Czech Republic and Poland. The purpose of the meeting, which was attended by about 150 people, was to support the export of Czech companies and the development of mutual cooperation between: companies, regions and countries.

European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTCs) gather in Athens to discuss the Future of Europe

The EGTCs, as the first European cooperation structure defined by EU law, play a key role in strengthening cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation within the European Union and beyond. They often serve as laboratories of the European Union, testing new and innovative ways of cooperating across borders and work on practical projects aimed at improving the lives of EU citizens. As such, the EGTCs that together make up the CoR's EGTC Platform, gathered in Athens on 4 May to discuss their views on Europe's common future.

Cross - border ski - new EGTC TRITIA project

Kysuce Tourist Board with EGTC TRITIA and other partners is implementing a project to promote of cross-country skiing in the Slovak-Polish-Czech border regions. We will create a map of cross-country skiing routs, ski centres and ski services in the SK-PL-CZ borders.
