“Sustainable business” project meetings

After two succesful project presentations for business incubators and other start-up supporters held in Ostrava and Cieszyn, the first joint meeting of Consultants Team from the Silesian Voivodeship and Morava - Silesian Region making up Cross-Border Network of Entrepreneurial Support Organizations was held on July 2nd in the Cieszyn Castle. The network was created within the project: “Sustainable business”. The project partners are the EGTC Tritia (leader) and the Regional Development Agency from Ostrava.

The aim of the project is to create favorable conditions to facilitate the start – ups supporting activities and budding entrepreneurs helping, by creating a cross-border network of organizations supporting entrepreneurship and transfer of the know-how in the field of entrepreneurship support from regions with a high coefficient of innovation.

The meeting served to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation between the  entrepreneurship supporting institutions from the Silesian Voivodeship  and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The participants of the meeting were Polish representatives: Centre for Enterprise Development from Zabrze, Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Bielsko-Biala, Association Creative Women's Club from Cieszyn, Technology Transfer Centre from Częstochowa, Centre for Education and Youth Work from Bielsko-Biala and Castle Cieszyn. The Czech borderland was represented by: Innovation Support Centre operating at the University of Technology in Ostrava, Business Innovation Centre and the Science and Technology Park from Ostrava and Business Incubator STEEL IT from Třinec. The meeting was the first step to establish cooperation between the institutions and the implementation of common activities under the project, aimed to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in the Polish-Czech border.
