We are looking for a partner on the Czech side

On the behalf of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TRITIA, we plan to apply for funding for a project involving two or three semester postgraduate studies on occupational therapy of adults.

Both Poland and the Czech Republic have similar experiences in working with seniors and people with disabilities, similarly define the needs in the field of education of therapists. For this reason, we decided to address this issue by organizing studies for people interested in the subject.

The problem is extremely important because in the area of our cooperation, in the cross-border area, there are many organizations with a social profile, aimed at working with seniors requiring care, eg social welfare homes, nursing homes, occupational therapy workshops.

One of the partners of the project will be the Pedagogy Department of the Higher School of Administration in Bielsko-Biała (http://www.wsa.bielsko.pl/). We are currently looking for a partner - a university - on the Czech side.

The project is planned to be submitted to the 3rd priority axis of the Interreg V-A Program Czech Republic-Poland, named: Education and qualifications. The specific objective of this priority axis is to increase the employment rate of graduates. Partnership activities will consist in the preparation and implementation of joint education, joint development of the post-graduate program, which will be implemented at both universities, ie the College of Administration and the other partner on the Czech side.

The organization on the basis of which we propose your cooperation is the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TRITIA. It is the first organization in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the representatives of which are members of the regional self-government. It is an international association operating under the European Commission Regulation on EGTC. The regional authorities of Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland are the members of EGTC TRITIA, namely the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Silesian Province and the Self-Government of the Żyliński Voivodship.
