With the European Commission Vice President Maroš Ševčovič

During the April visit of the Slovak regions representatives in Brussels we took the opportunity to introduce EGTC TRITIA to the European Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič who welcomed this first European grouping of territorial cooperation on the Polish - Czech - Slovak border and endorsed the European Commission's interest in the speedy adoption of the multiannual financial framework and the launch of EU cohesion policy implementation in the programming period 2014 - 2020.

He admitted that the idea of provisional budget for the European Union has indeed several supporters among the members of the European Parliament, but the European Commission points out that the stopgap will not bring any savings to European finances, in turn, it may lead to a stoppage of regional policy and problems in the implementation of the EU agricultural policy.
