On Friday, August 6, at the Senior Home run by the Elizabethan Sisters, the first workshop for seniors took place. A series of workshops, which is financed under the International Visegrad Fund, began in Jabłonków, next workshops will take place in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia!

Music and therapeutic workshops inspired by folk music of the borderland were led by Skład Niearchaiczny team.
The project is based on external support for institutions providing care for the elderly - Homes for Old Age and Social Welfare Homes from the border areas of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The project discussed the organization of an international conference on working with seniors; details of art therapy workshops for seniors and their functional care, training in methods of working with seniors who are struggling with dementia and other diseases. The preparation of specialist musical and therapeutic tools was also discussed, which will be used as part of workshops and then sent to social welfare homes. The project assumes support for the elderly and their carers, international integration and strengthening intergenerational dialogue. The main objective of the project is to prevent the exclusion of older people by establishing institutional cooperation and providing support to organizations performing care functions, thus promoting the principle of cooperation and assistance for seniors.
