Project summary: The project aims at creation of a cross - border network of entities supporting start – ups on both sides of the Czech – Polish border in the area of Moravian – Silesian Region and Silesian Voivodeship, as well as to obtain detailed information on the tools of support for start – ups used in the U.S.A. A set of webinars shall be held for this purpose. A mapping study will be made in the project, too. It will be a synthesis of case studies outputs, taken from both sides of the border. At the end of the project, a series of actions will be held in the framework of so called OPEN DAYS OF CROSS – BORDER BUSINESS, whose objective is to disseminate the project outcomes and promotion of doing business in this cross – border area.

EGTC in European territorial cooperation (ETC) programmes

12 and 13 November 2015 in Brussels was organized very interesting conference about the future of cross-border cooperation. It was organized by The EGTC Platform of Commitee of the Regions in partnership with the Association of European Border Regions, the European Commission and the Congress of Local and Regional Powers of the Council of Europe.
